Cam became hooked on Street Photography in 2010 and at the start of 2017 began using off-camera flash as a new way to create pictures expressing the intensity with which he experiences the world. Often the information flooding into his senses is a source of great joy but equally it can easily bring him to the point of sensory overload. After many years of feeling out of control and overtaken by life’s events, he entered a phase in his life where he was able to take more control, and in that same spirit, flash enables him to be more proactive in making pictures which reflect his personal vision.
